Thank you for exploring  Core Instructional Routines: Go-to Structures for the 6-12 Classroom.  In this sample, read the Introduction and Chapter One:  Beginning-of-Year Routines.  In it, the authors:

• Provide an overview of the research that supports the routines they present
• Establish routines at the start of a new year (or course)
• Present examples, templates, resources, and classroom vignettes to support the implementation of beginning-of-the-year routines
• Discuss special considerations in teaching assignments, as well as technology integration.
